Salary: £ 32 - £ 38 per hour
Specialist engineering consultancy is seeking a Structural Revit/BIM technician to join their London team. The offices has 20-24 people made of 4 different departments making them multi-disciplinary. You should be a Revit user either in structures or architecture field with a number of years experience in the industry. This firm works to 3d and 4d standards and can provide some training if necessary however you should be proficient enough to know the software. The firm specialise in data centre work and have become a world leader in the design and inspection of various data centres around the globe. Any prior experience in data centre design would be advantageous however not necessary. The office is open plan with a flat structure and the director's work with the designers/technicians to make sure each project is completed as a team and on time. You will be given hands on guidance by senior staff and directors as well as a friendly and easy going office atmosphere. You will work closely will architects and mechanical consultancies and be hands on with speaking with clients - therefore communication skills are essential. The consultancy is very well established and has internal clients who give repeat business. There is a steady and busy workload thus there is a natural need for expansion. This is a long term contract role with an attractive rate, any permanent staff would receive an excellent benefits package.
