intu Retail Services are now seeking to recruit an outstanding Learning and Development Consultant to be responsible for managing the learning and development operational strategy across our shopping centres in the North East and Scotland. This will include the responsibility for training need analysis, design and delivery of suitable solutions and management of appropriate training records. The position also includes the management of skills trainers based at the shopping centres.
To be successful in this role candidates will be able to demonstrate the ability to work in a fast paced retail environment, managing multiple stakeholders in a collaborative fashion, whilst delivering a significant return on training investment. In addition candidates will be exceptional communicators and have strong presentation skills, with the confidence and passion to deliver a variety of training schemes to various levels of management and operational staff.
It is expected that candidates will be CIPT qualified or hold an equivalent training qualification and also be qualified in psychometric tools such as Myer Briggs or Thomas International. Candidates should also have significant experience in working to Investors in People methodology and best practice. Whilst experience working for a retail organisation is not essential it would be an advantage in this role.
