The post holder will be part of both the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies Team (IAPT) and Dementia Team within the overall Clinical Policy and Mental Health Strategy Team, which sits within the Operations and Information Directorate of NHS England. The teams work very closely with the relevant National Clinical Directors, other NHS England directorates (such as commissioning operations), governmental departments (such as Department of Health and Social Care and Department for Work and Pensions) and other Arm’s Length Bodies (such as Health Education England).
As the Project Support Officer, the post holder is a key member of the team whose overarching goal is to enable, promote and support the effective use of data, information, knowledge and technology to improve, inform and support a portfolio of projects, services, and initiatives.
In particular the post holder will work across the following
• Provide high quality project support including information gathering and analysis.
• Undertake reporting and analysis of information to support delivery of projects.
• Draft key reports in line with standard operating procedures using team templates
• Support effective engagement with commissioners and clinical experts, seeking clinical input where appropriate, to deliver policies and processes to meet developing needs.
