The position is for Nursery cook based at a large Nursery school. They cater for up to 100 children when at full capacity.
Your main priority is cooking the lunch (two choices), and also the making of snacks which tends to be something simple like soup or beans on toast.
They do have various dietary requirements such as children who are, vegetarian, gluten free, Halal and dairy intolerant. So they need someone happy to cater for different needs.
Due to the nature of the business you will be working alone and would be responsible for the general cleaning and daily washing up requirements. There is a fully operational dishwasher.
There is a 3 week menu cycle in place but you will be able to change the menu if you wish to.
Hours of work will be 8am - 5pm (with a 1 hour break) Monday - Friday.
NVQ level 2 in food preparation or an equivalent qualification is required.
