Within this Graduate Opportunity IT support role you will be working within the IT function of the Business Support Team where you will have an opportunity to work within a busy team supporting the business and working on specific projects.
These projects will require analytical and programming capabilities as the business strives to streamline practices within its core business systems as well as providing bespoke applications where necessary.
With strong programming and communication skills you will interpret business and user needs and translate them into system solutions.
Ideally the successful applicant will have experience of .net, Java, C# and RPG languages.
This is an opportunity to work in a busy environment resolving "real world" issues in an experienced IT Team.
The ability to work successfully in a team as well as being able to prioritise individual workload is essential.
There is the expectation that the successful candidate will ensure the projects they have worked on are taken from conception to implementation including training the user community within the placement timeframe.
Fixed term 12 month contract (subject to successful completion of an initial 6 month probationary period).
Salary will be discussed at telephone and face to face interview stages. This depends predominately on experience and applications/programmes the successful candidate is familiar with and the contribution they can make to the overall needs of the business.
