Our Client is a North East based Mechanical and Inspection Engineering Company who assist organisations within the Petrochemical and Oil & Gas industry with their Asset Integrity, from inspection and preventative maintenance, through to understanding failure or issues in the structure of the asset.
Due to several new project gains and continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Inspection Engineer to assist with their strategic expansion plans.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Creating, writing and signing Written Schemes of Examination (WSE)
Amending and signing Written Schemes of Examination
Certifying WSEs within the scope of appointment
Inspecting Process Equipment and Associated Equipment for Minor, Intermediate, and Major plant
Informing the Client of the condition of the equipment and that remedial work, repairs, maintenance or modifications may be required
Writing, signing and issuing of:
Preferred Qualifications and Experiences:
Higher Level qualification + 5 years+ sector experience with a minimum of 3 years spent in the inspection field within a Petrochemical/Chemical site or a Plant Engineering role
Experience of specifying inspection intervals in accordance with approved codes and current Written Schemes of Examinations.
