Our client is a world-leading metal recycling company. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Industrial Trainer to join their team.

In this exciting position, you’ll have the chance to undertake excellent training to build on your existing expertise and ensure that you succeed in your role.
As an Industrial Trainer, you’ll be responsible for delivering high quality training at our client’s sites across the UK.
Primarily, you’ll train employees in the use of mobile plant such as 360 excavators, forklift trucks, loading shovels, telehandlers, skidsteers and MEWPs.
Additionally, you’ll provide H&S training in other disciplines, covering fire, abrasive wheel, manual handling and traffic banksman related tasks.
Your other duties will involve:
- Liaising with Site Managers to organise training sessions - Providing records of delivered training - Reporting on completed training to the Health, Safety & Training Manager
To be considered, you must have:
- A National Plant Operators Registration Scheme (NPORS) accreditation or a similar accreditation, such as the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) - Experience of delivering some (if not all) of the NPORS or CITB training disciplines - Excellent training skills - A full driving licence
Adaptable and people-oriented, as an Industrial Trainer, you must have exceptional communication skills. You must also be a natural team player with a strong work ethic and great time-management abilities.
Experience gained within the recycling sector would be beneficial to your application, as would a Level 3 award in Education & Training.
Please note, the successful candidate could operate out of any of our client’s West Midlands based sites. As such, candidates could live within a commutable distance of Darlaston, Smethwick, Coventry, Birmingham, Wolverhampton or Kingsbury.
