You will be working for an organisation which is a local authority based in Oldham, Greater Manchester. This role has become available due to an increase in work-load amongst staff.
Your new role
Within your new role you will be responsible for chairing LAC meetings, assessing child service user's and understanding each child's case. Assessing the action of the council and writing up complex reports. You will need to be able to implement policies and procedures and understand and use legislations on a daily basis within the role as independent reviewing officer.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed within this role you will need to have a Degree in Social Work or equivalent, your HCPC registration, social work experience and previous IRO experience. A desirable candidate will have at least two years IRO experience.
