6 Months Fixed Term Contract (possible extension) – 37.5 hours per week

Housingrecruit.com is currently advertising for a HR Administrator on behalf of their client, a leading social housing provider based in Bournemouth.

Do you have strong proven HR Administration experience? Are you seeking an opportunity within a fast paced environment, with potential for growth and development?

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Administrator on an initial fixed term contractto join a small and friendly HR Team based in Bournemouth in delivering a high-quality service to staff and managers within the Group.

Demonstrating ownership and taking responsibility in all that you do, the work will be varied and include a range of activities. These include Employee Lifecycle administration such as using the HR system to onboard new starters and managing leavers, pre employment checks and contracts, maternity and paternity leave, administering training and development via the online e-learning platform and support the HR Business Partners in delivering a comprehensive and timely HR service to their business areas. You will actively be encouraged to highlight and undertake process improvements within your role. Training and supervision will be given in all aspects whilst you get to know the processes and you will form a critical part of the HR team and a key link for your business areas and will be supported by the other HR Administrators and the HR Apprentice on a daily basis.

Candidate Requirements:

You will have previous HR admin experience but more importantly, you will have a clear drive and commitment for a role within HR.

Applicants will ideally have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
  • Computer literate (e.g. Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Internet, social media),
  • Have an excellent customer focused approach
  • Have good organisational, time-management and prioritisation skills
  • Be trustworthy, confidential and reliable,
  • Share a passion for the work the organisation does and issues affecting vulnerable people in society.
