Complex Home Care Assistant (HCA) in Falmouth - Adult Client Job

Salary: £8.26 - 12.27 per hour + free DBS and uniform

We are looking for experienced home care assistants to join our complex care team working with a client in their own home in the Falmouth area of Cornwall. Our client is an adult who has a range of complex needs including Parkinson's Disease.

Location – Falmouth (TR11 area)

Pay – From £8.26 on weekdays up to £12.27 at weekends

Shift patterns - 7 x days a week 08:

Full Training will be given if needed

We are looking for staff that have at least 3 months experience in a similar role within complex care and want to commit to this client. Our ideal applicant will have experience in the following areas:

  • Challenging Behaviour
  • Personal Care
  • Support Management
  • Conveen management
  • Knowledge of Parkinson’s Disease
  • Domestic Duties

You will form an integral part of the Newcross Care at Home team in this varied and rewarding role, delivering person-centred care in accordance with personalised care plans that enrich lives.

You will have access to comprehensive training and 24 hour support, and in order to ensure that you always have enough work you will be employed on a permanent, flexible contract with guaranteed hours.

  • The ability to prove your right to live and work in the UK
  • At least 3 months’ previous paid experience working in a complex care environment in the UK within the last 3 years
  • Referee contact details for your current place of work, including a manager who can comment on your clinical ability, and for all employments in the past 18 months or your 3 most recent jobs
  • NVQ2 / SVQ2 in Health and Social Care.
  • Due to the nature of this role, access to your own transport is essential.
