Complaints Investigator - PPI Job

Salary: £100.00 - £120.00 per day

Experienced PPI investigators required for 3 months temp Evening shifts 5pm - 12.30 am Monday - Friday

My Client situated in the banking sector is looking for experienced PPI investigators to join the team on an interim basis for evening work

Your new role
For this position you will have experience working in the banking sector specifically within PPI investigation . The role will involve resolving supplier queries investigating complex complaints escalated from the customer service team.
Understands issues from the Customer's perspective, asking pertinent questions to achieve this if necessary
Calms, pacifies and reassures the Customer in all contact
Committed to getting the right result for the Customer
Deals with a number of cases according to agreed standards
Takes time to review case(s) when taking on a handed-off case
Uses detailed knowledge of specialist area investigative skills to investigate a case
Develops formal and informal networks throughout Complaints in order to facilitate information gathering when resolving complaints
Uses Business Unit experts to handle the case where applicable
Exercises judgement when dealing with a wide range of situations to reach balanced resolutions which meet both Customers' expectations and business needs

What you'll need to succeed
For this role the ideal candidate will have the following experience.
Operational experience of working in banking or similar environment i.e. customer service, dealing with customer dissatisfaction, meeting customers expectations either verbally or in written form.
Experience in a customer focused department/business area.
Deep specialist knowledge of a single banking product and/or service
Good general knowledge of other banking products and/or services
Good knowledge of regulatory guidelines (DPA, Consumer Credit Act etc.)
Has experience of working in a target / service level driven environment
Strong PC skills (databases, Excel, Word, email) and knowledge of phone and fax systems
Previous complaint handling experience either in banking or other industries is desirable but not essential
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent communication and empathic skills - must be able to communicate verbally and non-verbally with all levels
Strong analytical and investigative skills
Works effectively both individually and as part of a team
Able to organise, prioritise and manage own workload and meet deadlines and targets
