Sales experience in a face-to-face environment (Essential)
Previous experience working in the banking industry (Desirable)
Flexible and adaptable to the team needs, as may be required to cover other local branches on occasion
The ideal candidate will have previously worked in a banking environment, however this is not essential. The main focus of this role is to provide excellent customer service on the counter whilst promoting the brand products/services wherever possible.
The main duties for Branch Assistant are:
Actively selling & promoting brand products and services
Administration duties including processing of customer accounts
Calling external business contacts with products and initiatives when required, on an occasional ad-hoc basis
Carrying out switchboard, reception and postal duties when required
Working as a team internally and externally to promote the brand products and services
This role is 35 hours per week, there will be a requirement to work Saturday mornings (approx. 2 per month), which will be paid as overtime.
With a salary of £14,891 - £15,391 for this role would be ideal for someone who is looking to work within a banking environment.
